   Thanks for this quick upload, do i need to install DP2 before or can i jump from DP1 to DP3?

     I think you can jump direct to DP3 because its a Combo Update. But I’m not sure.

           As long as you take the Combo Update, yes it should work.

           make sure you read below… It does NOT work properly. It WILL let you run the installer, but it will get messed up.

    I used the Mavericks DP3 to install on top of 10.8.5 and got an error towards the end about an error installing and couldn’t finish. When I rebooted, BAM! No more MAC. Had to restore from Timemachine over a NAS to get my Mac back.. Royal PITA.

    Anyone else hear of this issue?

    🙁 OK anyone who is wondering, ” CAN I install DP3 update without first updating to DP2?”

    The answer is not simple. It lets you run the update. Then finishes with “about a minute remaining” with a CONTINUE or BACK button.

    I though first this in a anomaly, it happened on my wife’s macbook pro. I though “hey i must have screwed up somehow.” It causes computer to reboot, then shut down on the pinwheel. Had to re-install. Wife not happy.

    I am dumb, I think of to the iMac….and do the same thing. I hope to fix it before she returns home tonight!
